Registration

Thank you for trying DKMessenger. You must register your copy of DKMessenger before you can use it. Registration is needed to add your profile to the DKMessenger database, which is used to store your handle, availability status and buddy information.

Only a minimum amount of information is needed to register. A unique handle, password and email address are all that are required. DKware will not distribute or make this email list publicly available. However, email gathering is necessary to track users who abuse the system.

Note that DKMessenger is also very secure - passwords are always passed across the network in encrypted format. They are also stored encrypted, discouraging password theft by hackers.
