Manage

Each time you open the FamilyFile program, the most recent FamilyFile database will open (with a password prompt).

 

Close: Close the FamilyFile two ways

Select File, Exit.

              -Or-

Click on the         red close box in the upper right corner of the program.

 

Save: Once you enter data into a topic form in your FamilyFile, and select Accept Entries, your data is saved.  Therefore, it is not necessary to Save?data upon exiting the program.

 

Open: If one FamilyFile database is open, and you wish to open a different FamilyFile:

 

1.  Select File, Open FamilyFile database.

2.  The current FamilyFile database will close, and all data that has been entered and accepted (saved) will be retained in that FamilyFile. 

3.  The other FamilyFile you selected will now open.
