Edit URLS Tab
Once
in a while when a domain changes some configurations (done by
the website owners) you will notice that the time it takes to
connect to a Web Lightning XP added site seems extra long,
or may display a "404 Not Found" type of error. If this happens
there is nothing to worry about. It happened because the DNS has
been changed and Web Lightning XP is reading from the wrong
DNS entry. Simply delete that site from the list in the Edit Urls
Table, save it, and go back to the Single
Sites tab and re-add it or use the new feature in our XP version
and click the "Add To Web Lightning button on your Internet
Explorer toolbar ot Tools drop down menu. It will then load
up fast again.
The
other buttons should be self explanitory.
The
Delete Site button will delete the highlighted site. We do
not allow multiple site highlighting and deletion because users
have complained of accidently deleting the wrong sites too many
times.
The
Save List button will save the list after you have
made some edits. When Deleting a site the program automatically
re-saves the new list, but you may save it at any other time for
peace of mind.
The
Clear List button will completely wipe the slate clean so to
speak. Be very careful when selecting this button if you don't want
to completely delete your list. It will ask for your
permission when you click it just to be on the safe side
though.
