Network Eagle User Interface

Statistics Panel

General information

The Statistics panel is located in the lower-right part of the main Network Eagle window. This panel is used to display statistical information for the currently selected group. This statistical information is collected since the application is started and is not stored in any permanent file.

By right-clicking inside the statistics panel, you can access its popup menu with commands for controlling this panel. You can copy the selected statistical entries, reset the selected statistics or hide the Statistical panel away from the screen. To make this panel visible again, select the Information item from the View menu.

Statistical fields

There are several types of statistical data collected for each check. Note that the statistics are not stored in a file. The application starts collecting the information when you start the application and resets it when you restart Network Eagle Monitor. The following information is collected and displayed in the Statistics panel:

  • Started At - Time when the check was started.
  • Last Fail At - Time when the check was failed last time.
  • Last Backup At - Time when the check was in the backup situation last time.
  • Max. Fail Time - The maximum interval the check was in the failed state.
  • Min. Fail Time - The minimum interval the check was in the failed state.
  • Fail Count - The number of failed check attempts.
  • Backup Count - The number of successful check attempts.
  • Total Fail Time - The total amount of time the checked object was in the failed state.
  • Total Backup Time - The yotal amount of time the checked object was in the success state.
