Control Options

Run automatically upon Windows startup Check this option to get ZoneTrekker to start running automatically every time that Windows starts or restarts. This is recommended in order to avoid missing any alarms that might occur whilst ZoneTrekker is not running.

Start minimized This option is only available if ZoneTrekker starts automatically upon Windows startup. When this optionis checked, the program will start in minimzed mode, with its icon accessible on the Windows Taskbar or in the System Tray. Note that ZoneTrekkers alarm features will work regardless of whether the program is minimized or not, so there is no need to have the program visible on your desktop if you just want to use the alarm features.

Run in System Tray When checked, this ensures that whenever you minimize or attempt to exit from ZoneTrekker via its close button, the program remains running in the System Tray. This allows you to keep your taskbar tidy and to ensure that you do not accidentally exit from ZoneTrekker when you may want to ensure that its alarms features keep working. Note that you can still close the program altogether by chosing the File / Exit menu items, or by using the right hand mouse button on the system tray icon, and selected the Exit option.

Autocheck for updates on Internet When checked this ensures that ZoneTrekker automatically checks for any available updates to the program and data files once every 30 days. However, for this option to work successfully, your computer will need to have an 渁lways-onInternet connection, or be able to connect to the Internet when prompted to do so by this feature. Note that although this feature notifies you of update availability, you still have the option of accepting, deferring or declining any such updates.

Time Format

24 Hour This is the 渋nternationaltime format used throughout Europe and various other places, as well as the standard ilitarytime format.

12 Hour This is the time format used in much of the English-speaking world.

Show Seconds When checked, the clock times displayed on the main list and in individual place clocks will display times incuding seconds, and be updated each second. When unchecked, times are displayed to the minute only, and updated upon the turn of each minute.
